Dear Fellow Art Educator,

The Hunterdon County Education Association is holding our sixth annual Friends of Education Gala, Friday, April 29, 6pm at Razberry’s in Frenchtown. This black tie, invitation only event will showcase the best in Hunterdon County public education, and we’re looking for student artwork to display.

Your district can submit two 2-dimensional pieces in any medium. Pieces should not be framed. They will be hung on fabric-wrapped display boards using T-pins or staples. Our volunteers will hang all the artwork.

Students whose art is chosen will be invited to a special viewing before the start of the gala. Here is the invite for this viewing. You can print it on your school letterhead or modify to suit your needs. Please note that students exhibiting art are not invited to the actual gala.

Please affix the this form to the front of the piece. I am requesting all artwork by April 27th in one of these ways:
  • Deliver to Robert Hunter Elementary School, 8 Dayton Rd, Flemington
  • Leave artwork in your school’s office and I can pick it up. Please email mariecorfield@gmail.com the address and if your school is open during spring break
If your local president is attending the gala, he/she can take the work at the end of the event. Otherwise, you can pick up your work on Monday, May 16th, 4:30-6:30pm, at the HCEA’s office:

13 Bloomfield Ave.
Flemington, NJ
